In recent years, the Swisscom Kickbox program has been able to support +700 intrapreneurs both inside and outside Swisscom, and created +18 success cases where raw ideas created additional revenue for Swisscom in form of new products, new services, cost savings or spin-offs. The team became a success case itself: After having scaled the intrapreneurship program at Swisscom, the team has supported +25 companies worldwide in doing so to and became eventually a spin-out of Swisscom called rready.
The Swisscom Kickbox team decided to share this knowledge and published the KICKBOOK which is one integral component of the first phase: RedBox phase. The process helps the innovator to validate the idea – step by step.
The KICKBOOK is the result of co-creation workshops, feedback sessions with countless innovative companies, Kickboxers and intrapreneurship experts.

Employees love the physical KICKBOOK and the toolbox itself as it makes innovation tangible. However, it is difficult to create one printed manual which works perfectly fine for eveyone as people bring different experience and knowledge to the table.
As a result, the Swisscom Kickbox team added online content to active the Kickboxer and provide more detailed information and tasks. The gap between the offline and online world can be narrowed down, the Kickboxer experience becomes even more adventurous and the online space can be also used for much more than only content.
